"Loveland Rocks" is 8.25 x 6" ( watercolor with acrylic) painting I created with the inspiration of the "Devils Backbone" rock formation which is just west of Loveland, Colorado. I did have fun playing with the hearts, but if you hike to the keyhole you will see that there are actually hearts hidden in the rocks. I've made this image into note cards for Valentine's Day (Loveland is the Valentine capitol) or anytime.

"Into the Mist"
I created this 10.75" x 8" pastel after coming over Trail Ridge Road (in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado) in a thick fog. Although the drive was nerve racking, (very limited visibility) I was inspired by the misty looking trees when the fog started to lift. This is the Poudre River trail at the Continental Divide off of Trail Ridge Road.
