"Snowy Range" series

I recently finished these mini oil paintings of the Snowy Range Mountains in Wyoming. It  was absolutely gorgeous up there; huge granite building blocks, snow left in a few spots (in August!) and wildflowers, especially Columbine growing everywhere. I like the way these paintings go together but they can be sold separately.  All are currently available...and still drying.
Please CONTACT me for more information.

"Bad Santa"

"Bad Santa" is the product of Tuesday night's drawing/painting portrait and figure drawing session. This group is not only talented but creative and  we have lots of laughs.  The models were very fun and consented to our rather odd idea of Santa....inspired by the movie. The  challenging part was painting two figures in less than 3 hours; the time flew by.  This original pastel on Wallis sandpaper is for sale,

please contact me for  further questions. You can see more bad santa's at these websites:

"Days Dreams" & "Sweet Dreams"

"Day Dreams" (top) and
"Sweet Dreams" (bottom) are two 8 x 10" oil paintings I painted for pure fun.   I used  the technique of  pallet knife painting  with very heavy impasto of places I dream of in each painting.   Both of the tropical,  hammock tied to palm trees at the beach themed paintings are for sale. They compliment each other well and are framed.

Please contact me for more information.

Therapy

Going to this almost deserted beach in Hawaii was the best therapy I could ever ask for, so I decided the appropriate title of this
11 x 14" oil painting was "Therapy".   This painting is sold but I do have prints or cards available through fineartamerica.

"Maggie's Chair"

"Maggie's Chair" is a watercolor I painted as part of my chair series of paintings.   I took a favorite Adirondack chair that my Dad made, an heirloom quilt I love and turned it into a place I'd like to hang out myself. (and paint!)  This painting was sold at the Richard Schmid Fine Art Auction, but I had it scanned so giclees on watercolor paper are available.
You can contact me
or go to
artforconservation.com to order a limited edition giclee.

The painting (on the right), "Clarks Peak" is from the Colorado State Forest, just north of the National Park.  Both originals were 18" x 24" but are available as canvas giclees up to 27" x 36" (and smaller) in a signed limited edition.
