Appeasing Pele donation

 

 My heart goes out to the fire storm that destroyed Lahaina, Maui last month.  I jumped onboard to donate this 11 x 14" pastel to directly help the victims.   I pastel painted "Appeasing Pele" after viewing the gifts left for the goddess Pele  at Volcanoes National Park, Hawaii.  The items left were touching.  This part of the volcano is no longer open to the public since several  eruptions happened since then.
