I recently finished this 12 x 16" pastel. The scene is from Central Park in New York City. My nephew proposed to his bride there and commissioned me to paint a wedding present for him to give to her.Since I didn't have a photo of the exact moment, I used several different reference photos to compose the scene he had in mind.
