Mary Giacomini is a Colorado artist who loves to paint the Rocky Mountain landscape. She paints proficiently in oil, pastel and watercolor. She teaches art classes both out of her studio and for the Loveland Museum Gallery, in Loveland, Colorado.

Hiking through a painting
I get a big charge out of revisiting places I have painted, especially being "in" a painting I've done. I'm hiking behind my husband on a favorite hike in Rocky Mt Park just a few days ago.
"Gold Rush" is a pastel I've created from this place.
