These two new long tall (24" H X 8" W) original oil paintings of Aspens in Autumn are brand new. They were inspired the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I have hiked in the nearby mountains on many gorgeous Fall days and look forward to it every year.
These paintings both have an atmospheric thin layer of oil paint for the blue mountains with heavy impasto pallet knife strokes for the foliage and foreground.
