Mary Giacomini is a Colorado artist who loves to paint the Rocky Mountain landscape. She paints proficiently in oil, pastel and watercolor. She teaches art classes both out of her studio and for the Loveland Museum Gallery, in Loveland, Colorado.

Watercolor Series
Watercolor Series at the Loveland Museum & Gallery that I will be teaching:
Watercolor: Stained Glass Effect
Saturday, February 7
10:30 am – 1:30 pm
The Sequel Building
Do your watercolors have depth? Learn how to use transparent watercolors with purple underpainting to your advantage to get a stained glass, glowing look.
Watercolor: Reflective Light
Saturday, February 28
10:30 am – 1:30 pm
The Sequel Building
Students will learn to see how the color of one object influences the color on adjacent objects.
Watercolor: Juicy Flowers
Saturday, March 7 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
Students will use puddles of bright colors to create fresh, lively paintings from flowers.
Supplies are provided, although you may bring some of your own if preferred. Some experience may be helpful but is not required.
Fee: $45 per session or $120 for all three.
