This is the 10" x 5" nude figure study I painted at one of the weekly figure and portrait groups I attend. Until now I have been drawing, painting with pastel and monochromatic oil for the past 2 1/2 years. This is my first oil in color alla prima style. I find the female back lovely and was challenged by this side view.
