Here is an example of the same scene painted two different ways: landscape and portrait. I painted the scene on the top first. (pastel, sold) I decided to crop the scene and enlarge it to create, "Gold Rush" a 30" x 15" pastel that won jurors choice in a Loveland, Colorado show. (Gold Rush canvas giclees are available in a variety of sizes at artforconservation.com The trail is one of my favorites in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado and my favorite time of year: autumn.
