Finding Peace Sukhasana

This is a new oil painting for 2012. This 12" x 9" original oil depicts one of the models (also an awesome yoga instructor) of my Tuesday night figure painting group seated in Sukhasana.  I depicted her at a peaceful beach; a place to find inner calm.   I would like to do a series of paintings on yoga poses.
