Retreat

"Retreat" is a brand new 20" x 16" oil painting I recently finished.  I have painted a similar scene before; "Island Lake".  Both paintings are from the Kootenay Mountains in  British Columbia, Canada.  I hiked through old growth forest around this beautiful alpine lake to find the most inspiring scenes.
