"Tree Yoga"
"Tree Yoga" is the name of this 18 x 24" pastel. It reminded me of a pose in yoga, as it arches over the river standing tall. I found this scene in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado which is close to where I live. The original is for sale at Mountain Living Studio in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Secluded
"Secluded" is a 20" x 10" original oil painting that is for sale. The landscape is a view of Flathead Lake near Kalispell, Montana which is a short drive to Glacier National Park. Flathead Lake is a natural lake almost 30 miles long and 15 miles wide, surrounded by the Rocky Mountain ranges. The cabin was in my reference photo; I added the Adirondack chairs and red canoe. (to make myself at home)

"My Space"
"My Space" is an original 24" x 18" oil painting of Aspen Lake in northern New Mexico. I transplanted the Adirondack chairs with a little help from photoshop and added the subtle Grolsh beer bottles to make it a little more inviting. Tonal Figure Study
"Figure study 3/2/10" is the tonal painting I painted at my weekly figure/portrait group this week. The model really reminded me of Matisse's figure paintings with all of the curves. I'm presently limiting myself to one oil color: transparent oxide red, to study the value in this 3 hour session. This 11 x 14 painting is for sale for $50 plus $6 shipping.

"Sweet Dreams"
"Sweet Dreams" is an 8 x 10" original oil painting I painted for pure fun. I painted it entirely with a pallet knife using very heavy impasto. I also painted "Day Dreams" in the same size, style and frame. This tropical scene of a hammock tied to palm trees at the beach is for sale.
